Hope Starts Here
Let hope become your first act of rebellion against a life that feels out of your control.

Preparing for child support court is a lot to take on when you’re already working, raising a child, and managing the bills. Sorting through payment records, childcare receipts, and medical expenses shouldn’t mean spending hours trying to build a spreadsheet from scratch.
The Child Support Payment & Expense Tracker gives you one place to organize what was due, what was paid, and what remains unpaid. Separate tabs track child support, childcare, medical costs, and other expenses, with built-in formulas to calculate balances and the other parent’s share based on the percentages you enter from your order. A summary tab brings the totals together so your records are easier to review and explain.
Your purchase includes instructions, completed examples, and a free supplies list to help you organize your supporting evidence. Make your own copy and keep updating it as payments and expenses come in.
One payment. No subscription. A practical starting point for getting your financial records organized, sharing them with child support services, and feeling more prepared for court.

Communicating about child support expenses can be exhausting when you’re already working, raising a child, managing the bills, and trying to keep everything documented. Writing another email about an unpaid expense, missed payment, or reimbursement shouldn’t mean spending 45 minutes figuring out how to word it without getting pulled into unnecessary conflict.
The 21 Child Support Email Templates + Coaching Notes give you plug-and-play language for common situations like shared expenses, medical bills, childcare, school costs, extracurricular activities, missed or partial payments, reimbursement requests, disputed expenses, and more. Simply choose the template that fits, copy + paste it, fill in your information, attach your documentation, and send.
Each template also includes a short coaching note with helpful context for using it—like what to document, things to consider before hitting send, and how to keep your communication focused on creating a clear written record instead of getting pulled into another argument.
The templates are intentionally short, factual, neutral, and boring—because boring is the strategy. Used consistently, they can help you create a clearer paper trail as things happen, while saving you the time, energy, and sanity of figuring out what to say every single time.
One payment. No subscription. A practical tool for clearer communication, better documentation, and one less thing you have to figure out on your own.

I created the Empowered Pro Se guide after spending five years navigating the family court system — ultimately representing myself in both criminal and family court to obtain restraining orders and sole custody of my son. Through that experience, I learned firsthand just how overwhelming it can be to walk into a courtroom on your own when the stakes couldn’t feel higher.
Think of it as your Pro Se 101 guide. It’s designed for protective parents navigating high-conflict custody cases who need practical help understanding the process, getting organized, preparing for court, and building a strategy without feeling completely lost in the legal system.
It’s the resource I wish I’d had when I was figuring all of this out myself — built from what I learned along the way, so you don’t have to start from scratch.

Life already asks enough of you. Feeling better shouldn’t become another thing on your to-do list.
I created this free Quick Calm Guide with simple, realistic things you can try today to turn down some of the noise, reduce overstimulation, and give your mind + body a chance to exhale.
No complicated routines. No expensive coaching. No 27-step morning protocol.
Just small shifts I personally use to create a little more calm in my everyday life — from what I do before I even pick up my phone in the morning to simple changes with lighting, movement, food, sleep, and the way I wind down at night.
It’s completely free. No email required. Just click below and it’s yours.
About Me
My dad always wanted me to follow in his footsteps and become an attorney, but I didn’t want to spend my time arguing with people.
Well... joke’s on me.
I’ve always said that if he were still alive, my abusive ex would have been handled by the legal system a long time ago. But that’s not how life worked out for me. I didn’t set out to learn the family court system. I learned it because I had to.
After five years of navigating a high-conflict custody battle and post-separation abuse as a single mom, I know what it feels like to fight to protect your child while also working, paying the bills, managing a household, and somehow finding the time and mental capacity to learn a legal system you never imagined you’d need to understand.
I learned how to research court procedures, prepare filings, organize years of documentation into evidence, build timelines, communicate clearly under pressure, and walk into a courtroom prepared to advocate for myself and my son. That work ultimately helped me obtain restraining orders, sole custody, and an order for child support plus $70,000 in arrears.
And I learned something very important along the way that changed the way I approached everything:
Knowing what happened isn’t enough. You have to be able to show it. Clearly.
When you’re living through high-conflict behavior, you know the five hundred puzzle pieces that make up the bigger picture. But a judge doesn’t live your life. They see the parts you put in front of them.
Learning to separate facts from feelings, document patterns instead of isolated incidents, organize evidence, and communicate what was happening in a way the court could actually follow became some of the most important skills I developed.
My background did help... I have a Bachelor’s degree in Communication with a minor in Psychology, along with years of family & criminal court experiences that required organization, research, documentation, and clear communication.
But nothing lights the fire quite like having your child’s future attached to the outcome.
And getting through custody didn’t magically mean I was finished with the system.
I’m now navigating another part of it firsthand: child support and enforcement. After years of inconsistent and unpaid support, I’ve had to learn about arrears, enforcement agencies, wage withholding, contempt and show-cause proceedings, liens, payment records, and the incredibly frustrating difference between having an order and actually getting that order enforced.
So, I’m still in it.
I’m still a solo mom working full-time, raising my son, regulating my nervous system, paying bills, sending emails, keeping records, showing up for court, asking questions, researching what I don’t understand, and figuring out the next step when the system doesn’t make that step particularly obvious.
And that matters to me, because I never want to position myself as someone standing on the other side telling women how easy everything becomes once you know the “right” strategy.
Sometimes this is hard. Sometimes it’s exhausting. Sometimes you do everything right but it's all so overwhelming and you still have to keep pushing.
What I can do is take what I’ve learned — and what I continue to learn — and make it easier for the next person to understand.
Because if you’re sitting at your own kitchen table right now surrounded by screenshots, court orders, payment histories, calendars, emails, and paperwork wondering, Where the hell do I even start? — You're not alone. I know that feeling well.
You may not be able to control the other parent. You may not be able to control how quickly the system moves. But you can get informed, get organized, document what matters, understand your options, regulate your nervous system and walk into the next step more prepared than you were for the last one.
That’s the space I’m creating here.
Not because I have all the answers — but because I’ve had to find a hell of a lot of them on my own. So now you don't have to.
I’m not an attorney, and nothing I share is legal advice. I share education, resources, organizational tools, and lessons from my own experience navigating these systems. Laws and procedures vary by jurisdiction, so always verify information applicable to your own state and case.
